PRO CORDA FRIENDS

How Friends are helping
Friends’ funds are used to supplement the Bursary Fund for students of limited means, to support special training projects and outreach work, and to help cover running costs.

Choose your level of support
Everyone who values the inspired learning experiences of young chamber musicians is invited to help underpin Pro Corda today and to help secure its future. Your regular support is encouraged, at a membership level to suit you:
Friend £30 min p.a.
Supporter £100 min p.a.
Donor £500 min p.a.
Benefactor £1000 min p.a.

Benefits of your Pro Corda Friendship
Your involvement with Pro Corda Friends will give continuing satisfaction that you are contributing to this unique school for new generations of chamber musicians.

In addition members receive:

  • Pro Corda Newsletters including behind-the-scenes news of music at Leiston Abbey, outreach projects, development plans and Pro Corda personalities

  • Advance information about Pro Corda performances

  • Invitations to Pro Corda concerts and Friends’ events at Leiston Abbey, in London, Somerset, Yorkshire and beyond.

How to join
You can join today by completing the Pro Corda Friends Membership Application. Whichever membership level you select, please consider increasing the value of your contribution in two simple ways – payment by Standing Order (saving us valuable administrative costs) and signing a Gift Aid declaration (enabling Pro Cord to reclaim tax on your contribution at no extra cost to you).

A lasting legacy to chamber music
Your enthusiasm for chamber music can support Pro Corda’s work for future generations of talented young players. Legacies from Pro Corda Friends continue to play a significant part in the School’s development, and Pro Corda encourages you to consider making a provision for it in your will. On this website you can find an aspect of work which may appeal to you in setting up a bequest, for example, Pro Corda’s special funds for pianos or student bursaries.
