Pro Corda's Primary Course offers talented young string players and pianists aged 8–11 an inspiring introduction to the world of chamber music.
Designed to nurture musical curiosity and confidence, students explore a wide range of repertoire—from Baroque favourites to Mozart, Mendelssohn and contemporary works—working closely with expert tutors throughout the week.
Every student takes part in two chamber groups, developing their ensemble skills from first rehearsal to final performance, while enjoying the unique experience of learning, creating and making music together at Leiston Abbey.
An informal audition is required for first-time applicants, with a focus on musical potential as well as current ability.
Residential course held at Leiston Abbey in Suffolk.
